Christian Dogma Should be Questioned, André Vltchek

Christianity, Imperialism, Capitalism

Cusco, Peru - to local people, 'Christ' was an indiginous man murdered by Christian conquerers.

Cusco, Peru – to local people, ‘Christ’ was an indiginous man murdered by Christian conquerers.

This year as in every other year, Christianity and fundamentalist capitalism, two great allies, are joining their forces to extract billions of dollars, all over the world, mainly from the poor.

As money flies towards the coffers of the church and into corporate accounts, over-sugary, kitschy Christmas carols and gospels are soaring out from the audio systems of department stores and malls all over the Empire and in almost all of its colonies (Saudi Arabia being an exception).

‘White Christmas’ is re-enacted and faked in the steaming-hot tropical ‘client states’, into where Christianity with all its nomenclature was forcefully injected decades and centuries ago.

Christmas trees, colorful balls and stars camouflage the sharp teeth, swords, torture instruments and propaganda tools. This faith was built on all conquered continents, on fear, never on love! Righteousness, aggressiveness and intimidation have been some of the trademarks of Christianity, for centuries. The faith which murdered hundreds of millions of people worldwide, reducing hundreds of great civilizations to ashes, is, until now, unapologetic and self-assured.

It is no wonder, as the greatest pillars of the modern-day oppression support it: the Empire itself as well as its unchallengeable fundamentalist capitalist doctrines.

US: Historical Mythology in the Service of Fascism, by Caleb Maupin

5345322

The United States government, at this moment, is aligned with many fascists and neo-Nazis.

In Ukraine, a swastika-wearing gang called “the Right Sector” was the primary force in the campaign of street violence and terror that brought down the elected government. The “Right Sector” is just one of a number of Ukrainian ultra-nationalist groups that openly admires Hitler. Various figures in the Kiev-based regime, backed by the United States as it threatens Russia, have openly praised Adolph Hitler. The Kiev regime is dependent on these crazed anti-Russian fanatics as it wages a war against its own population in the East.

In Syria, the US has aligned itself with Takfiri extremists. These are armed Islamic groups that call for the extermination of those who hold unacceptable religious beliefs. The Takfiris are known to torture, recruit child soldiers, and commit other heinous crimes against humanity. They are known to summarily execute people by means of beheading for nothing other than their religion or ethnicity. The US government and its allies have funded these forces in the hopes of toppling the Syrian Arab Republic.

In Bolivia, Venezuela, Ecuador, and other Bolivarian countries, the US-backed “opposition” contains many who admire fascist dictators Francisco Franco and Augusto Pinochet. The anti-Bolivarian minority in Latin America openly talks of a campaign of terrorist violence to overthrow the elected, pro-socialist governments. Venezuelan official Robert Serra was already assassinated by these extremists, and their campaign of violence is likely to escalate as these popular anti-capitalist governments solidify themselves.

U.S. Gov’t. Seeks Excuse to Attack Russia, by Eric Zuesse

December 17, 2014 “ICH” – The world is more nervous about the drift toward nuclear war between the U.S. and Russia than at any time since 1962’s Cuban Missile Crisis. When French President Francois Hollande urgently side-tracked his return-flight from a diplomatic mission recently, in order to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, at a private room that had been scoured ahead of time to eliminate any possible bugging devices, there was speculation as to what had caused Hollande’s sudden detour, and there were even rumors of a possible cause being an American “false-flag” event in the works to be blamed on Russia as a pretext for going to war against Russia, just as Russia had been falsely blamed for the Ukrainian military’s downing of Malaysia’s airliner MH17 on July 17th. All that was publicly released about the two-hour meeting were platitudes, hardly anything that would have justified side-tracking Hollande’s flight so as to surprise intelligence agencies and be able to meet the Russian leader in an untapped room.

The level of fear is certainly rising on both sides. On the U.S. side, the CBS News Poll in summer 2007 found 6% of Americans calling Russia an “enemy”; seven years later, that same figure was 22%. However, what is not rumor nor fear, but proven fact, by Obama’s own actions as will be documented here, is that he wants a war against Russia and is trying hard to get Europe (including Hollande) onboard with this goal in order to win it; and that America’s Republican Party want this at least as much as he does, though the American public do not.

The Democratic Party (in the House and Senate) are staying as quiet as possible about a ‘Democratic’ President pushing them toward World War III, which is a goal that Republicans have always been far more eager for than Democrats. (Republicans are famous for “Speak softly but carry a big stick,” and for swinging it as hard as they can, especially against Russians.) In fact, one of the reasons why Obama won the Presidency is that he criticized his 2012 Republican opponent Mitt Romney for saying of Russia, “This is without question our No. 1 geopolitical foe.”

What Putin is not telling us, Pepe Escobar

Even facing what under any circumstances is a perfect storm; President Putin delivered an extremely measured performance at his annual press conference and Q&A marathon.

The perfect storm evolves in two fronts; an overt economic war – as in siege by sanctions – and a concerted, covert, shadow attack to the heart of the Russian economy. Washington’s endgame is clear: impoverish and defang the adversary and force him to meekly bow to the Empire of Chaos’s’ whims. And bragging about it all the way to “victory.”

The problem is Moscow happens to have impeccably deciphered the game – even before Putin, at the Valdai Club in October, pinned down the Obama doctrine as “our Western partners” working as practitioners of the “theory of controlled chaos.”
