Top Putin aide: Mossad training ISIS terrorists in Iraq & Syria

Source: JPOST News

A top aid to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday accused Israel and the United States of training the Islamic State in order to undermine Moscow’s interests in the Middle East.

In an interview with Iranian state television, Alexander Prokhanov said that Mossad agents were training ISIS fighters in Syria and Iraq.

“ISIS is a tool at the hands of the United States. They tell the Europeans that if we (the Americans) do not intervene, ISIS will cause you harm,” he told PRESS TV.

“They launched their first terror attack against us just a few days back in Chechnya,” he said.

Gunmen attacked a police post and stormed a building on Thursday in Grozny, capital of Russia’s southern province of Chechnya, killing 10 policemen in clashes in which 10 of the attackers were also killed.

The bloodiest fighting in Chechnya for months erupted a few hours before President Vladimir Putin said in a speech in Moscow he would defend Russia against what he called attempts to dismember it.

The attack underlined the fragile security situation in Chechnya more than a decade after Putin sent troops to quell an Islamist separatist uprising there.

Ten policemen and 10 suspected militants were killed, Russia’s National Anti-terrorism Committee (NAK) said, adding that another 28 law enforcement personnel had been wounded.

However, Putin praised the Kremlin-backed leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, for carrying out a “professional” security operation.

‘Iraqi Kurdistan’ – Western Fifth Column in the Middle East, by André Vltchek

New front line in the fog ISIS holding the hills
New front line in the fog ISIS holding the hills

This report is dedicated to Serena Shim. Because both of us, had been covering an almost identical story. Because she is dead and I am still alive. Because she was brave. Because even as she was being threatened, and scared, she did not stop her dedicated quest for the truth, and as long as people like her live, work, struggle and die for our humanity, all is not lost, yet!

***

The weather is gloomy; it is drizzling and heavy fog is covering the entire countryside. After leaving Erbil, the capital of the Kurdish Autonomous Region of Iraq, large and small military as well as police checkpoints appear; like ghosts, on both sides and in the middle of an old, dilapidated motorway, which was built during Saddam Hussein’s years.

There are huge Kurdish flags waving above the checkpoints. Small ones are attached to the bumpers of cars.

“We cannot slow down, unless the guards order us to stop”, explains my driver, as we pass by the mountains of sandbags and the aggressive black muzzles of machine guns. “They have orders to shoot without warning.”

We don’t stop, but I photograph whenever it is possible, even through the windshield.

We are driving on the road that leads straight to Mosul, the city that was taken by ISIS, or as it is known here, in Arabic, Da’ish, in June 2014.

My driver is scared. The entire region is tense and this time even the city of Erbil (also known as Arbil) has not been spared. On the 19th of November, a car bomb exploded in front of the Governor’s office, killing at least 6 people, and injuring dozens. Almost immediately, ISIS took responsibility, declaring their aim to spread insecurity in the Kurdish, which is pro-Western, enclave of northern Iraq.

The Kobani riddle, by Pepe Escobar

femmes-kobane

The brave women of Kobani – where Syrian Kurds are desperately fighting ISIS/ISIL/Daesh – are about to be betrayed by the “international community”. These women warriors, apart from Caliph Ibrahim’s goons, are also fighting treacherous agendas by the US, Turkey and the administration of Iraqi Kurdistan. So what’s the real deal in Kobani?

Let’s start by talking about Rojava. The full meaning of Rojava – the three mostly Kurdish provinces of northern Syria – is conveyed in this editorial (in Turkish) published by jailed activist Kenan Kirkaya. He argues that Rojava is the home of a “revolutionary model” that no less than challenges “the hegemony of the capitalist, nation-state system” – way beyond its regional “meaning for Kurds, or for Syrians or Kurdistan.”

Ain al-Arab or Kobané is a city in northern Syria, the Syrian Kurdistan currently located on the Turkish border
Ain al-Arab or Kobané is a city in northern Syria, the Syrian Kurdistan currently located on the Turkish border

Kobani – an agricultural region – happens to be at the epicenter of this non-violent experiment in democracy, made possible by an arrangement early on during the Syrian tragedy between Damascus and Rojava (you don’t go for regime change against us, we leave you alone). Here, for instance, it’s argued that “even if only a single aspect of true socialism were able to survive there, millions of discontented people would be drawn to Kobani.”

Official Story on Deaths of Saddam’s Sons “Wags the Dog”, by Michel Chossudovsky

Our article from yesterday showed the barbarity of the west in its genocide of the Iraqi people. The article you are about to read today, illustrates the defiant nature of the Iraqi people and tells us why they cannot be defeated.

Much has been said in the main stream “press” about Saddam’s sons but that is not what this is about. It is about the day light murder, rape & pillage of a strong sovereign nation. This is not the first time Baghdad has been razed to the ground, it shall rebuild as it has before.

The bravery of a 14 year old, shot in cold blood by heavily armed occupation forces, gives a fitting “picture” to remember the Iraqi people who till this day are not free from the terror unleashed by the “civilized western world”.

AE

The deaths of the sons of Saddam Hussein in a high profile “shoot-out” in the northern city of Mosul arrive at a most opportune moment for President Bush and his entourage.

Political assassination is tied into the logic of war propaganda.  The killings were designed by the Pentagon to uphold the shaky legitimacy of  the Anglo-American military axis in the face of Iraqi armed resistance to occupation forces. In the words of President Bush: “their deaths show that the former Iraqi regime will not be coming back.”

By mobilizing media attention Worldwide on Saddam’s two sons,  the Mosul event has served to distract Western public opinion from the broader issue of war crimes committed by the Bush administration and its indefectible British ally, not to mention the mysterious death of David Kelly, the senior MI6 official who “pulled the plug” on Tony Blair.

Meanwhile, the fake Niger uranium dossier, used in Bush’s State of the Union address has been quietly sent to the news archives.

The Mosul shoot-out serves to “reduce the heat” and conceal the lies: “The death of the two sons was greeted with jubilation in Washington, where President George Bush has been under growing political pressure…” (Washington Post, 24 July 2003)

While the entire Western news chain is inundated with the same unsavory (syndicated) stories on Saddam’s derelict son Uday, the more substantive issue of phony intelligence and WMDs is relegated to the inner pages of the tabloids.

The fact, amply documented, that the war was based on a fabricated pretext is now regarded as a mere technical detail: a 16 words “error” which inadvertently slipped into the President’s State of the Union address.

US/UK Genocide Against Iraq 1990-2012 Killed 3.3 Million, incl. 750,000 Children, by Sherwood Ross

Approximately 3.3 million Iraqis, including 750,000 children, were “exterminated” by economic sanctions and/or illegal wars conducted by the U.S. and Great Britain between 1990 and 2012, an eminent international legal authority says.

The slaughter fits the classic definition of Genocide Convention Article II of, “Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part,” says Francis Boyle, professor of international law at the University of Illinois, Champaign, and who in 1991 filed a class-action complaint with the UN against President George H.W. Bush.

The U.S. and U.K. “obstinately insisted” that their sanctions remain in place until after the “illegal” Gulf War II aggression perpetrated by President George W. Bush and UK’s Tony Blair in March, 2003, “not with a view to easing the over decade-long suffering of the Iraqi people and children” but “to better facilitate the U.S./U.K. unsupervised looting and plundering of the Iraqi economy and oil fields in violation of the international laws of war as well as to the grave detriment of the Iraqi people,” Boyle said.

bushandtony

In an address last Nov. 22 to The International Conference on War-affected Children in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Boyle tallied the death toll on Iraq by U.S.-U.K. actions as follows:

# The slaughter of 200,000 Iraqis by President Bush in his illegal 1991 Gulf War I.

# The deaths of 1.4 million Iraqis as a result of the illegal 2003 war of aggression ordered by President Bush Jr. and Prime Minister Blair.

#  The deaths of 1.7 million Iraqis “as a direct result” of the genocidal sanctions.

Boyle’s class-action complaint demanded an end to all economic sanctions against Iraq; criminal proceedings for genocide against President George H.W. Bush; monetary compensation to the children of Iraq and their families for deaths, physical and mental injury; and for  shipping massive humanitarian relief supplies to that country.

The “grossly hypocritical” UN refused to terminate the sanctions, Boyle pointed out, even though its own Food and Agricultural Organization’s Report estimated that by 1995 the sanctions had killed 560,000 Iraqi children during the previous five years.

Iraqigenocidefigures

Boyle noted that then U.S. Secretary of State Madeline Albright was interviewed on CBS-TV on May 12, 1996, in response to a question by Leslie Stahl if the price of half a million dead children was worth it, and replied, “we (the U.S. government) think the price is worth it.”

Albright’s shocking response provides “proof positive of the genocidal intent by the U.S. government against Iraq” under the Genocide Convention, Boyle said, adding that the government of Iraq today could still bring legal action against the U.S. and the U.K. in the International Court of Justice. He said the U.S.-U.K. genocide also violated the municipal legal systems of all civilized nations in the world; the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child; and the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 and its Additional Protocol 1 of 1977.

Boyle, who was stirred to take action pro bono by Mothers in Iraq after the economic sanctions had been imposed upon them by the Security Council in August, 1990, in response to pressure from the Bush Senior Administration.  He is the author of numerous books on international affairs, including “Destroying World Order” (Clarity Press.)

Sherwood Ross is a columnist, broadcast commentator and public relations consultant “for good causes.” He formerly reported for major dailies and wire services and is the author of “Gruening of Alaska”(Best). Reach him at sherwoodross10@gmail.com

Is the CIA’s ISIS Cult Already Collapsing in Iraq?,by William Engdahl

This is perhaps the most eloquently explained and presented summary on the whole ISIS topic and is 100% in line with what we understand reality to be regarding “Islamic terrorism”.

Coincidentally,as this story was being published, Don Debar, host of the Morning Show at CPR News, highlighted an interesting story out of Turkey about a nurse claiming to be sick of helping wounded IS “moderate rebels”.

Radio host Don Debar added: ” ISIS is officially designated by US as a terrorist group. This hospital is in Turkey. Turkey is a member of NATO. NATO is harboring and giving material aid to terrorists. Its American members are subject to US law.”

IS is the latest, most ferocious paper tiger put up by the US to usher in a new era of regime change, chaos and destruction or in other words the “War on Terror”.

Our last piece on the subject, by Tom Mysiewicz, gives more insight into the possible strategic aims project Caliphate 2.0 (IS) fulfils.

NEO

Since the early 1950’s, when the CIA station chief in Munich became aware of the effective use of radical Jihadist Sunni Muslims from the Soviet Union by Gerhard von Mende’s wartime Ostministerium, US intelligence has sought to use the fanaticism of radical Islamists to its advantage. In my latest book I call it, “Amerikas Heiliger Krieg.” The alliance of nominally Christian American forces with nominally Muslim Salafists to kill and destroy was justified with a peculiar American brand of self-appointed Holy Mission. In reality the alliance between CIA and radical Islam was never holy. The events surrounding ISIS demonstrate.

The CIA’s creation of Sunni Mujahideen “freedom fighters” in Afghanistan after 1979, with the essential aid of a Saudi named Osama bin Laden to drive the Red Army from Afghanistan was but the beginning of decades-long covert manipulation of Holy War Muslim fanatics to wage active war as surrogates for the geopolitical agenda of certain Washington circles. The Muslim fighters were sometimes purely mercenary, sometimes devout Salafists or Wahhabite Sunnis. The main point for the backers in Washington was that the Juhadists killed the right “enemy.”

WAR WITH ISIS: MULTIPLEXING A NEW WORLD ORDER, by Tom Mysiewicz

This is an entertaining read and a rather fresh approach to the whole ISIS situation.

We would like to point out to the readers that this piece has been queued for publication for some time and in that space one of Tom’s predictions regarding forces being deployed due to the “Ebola outbreak” has materialized.

Tom is a shrewd observer, analyst and opinion maker. Read more from behind the lines, behind the editorials abound and ponder on the wider game.

AE

President Obama’s speech announcing war with ISIS  has been hailed in the non-mainstream press as a harbinger of war with Syria,  paving the way for an assault on Lebanon and Iran.  (I would add to that mix the creation of what I call “Israeli Kurdistan” from Iraq and a portion of Turkey[i], dispossession of Palestinians and expulsion of Gaza residents into the Sinai and further expansion of Eretz or greater Israel as the future seat of AngloZionist world government.[ii])

The more farsighted see in Obama’s war announcement and in the ISIS Caliph’s almost simultaneous threats to attack Russia an even more sinister motive of reinstating the Reagan-era mujahedeen and Bush-Clinton-era Chechen state-sponsored terrorism against the former Soviet Union and then Russia.  (Not surprisingly, Saudi Arabia, which was heavily involved in funding and proselytizing both of the aforementioned terrorist enterprises, was similarly involved in the creation of ISIS/ISIL.)

While no one has mentioned it, the sheer blatant nature of Mr. Obama’s call for an illegal aggressive war on Syria—without Congressional approval (especially after the 2013 Russian-brokered Syrian peace deal) can be seen as a bare-faced provocation.  One rubber stamped by Vice President Kerry.  Could the Russians be persuaded to make a bad chess move, sacrificing either Syria or Ukraine?

Islamic State & the war in Ukraine

This small (4 minute) interview with Sharmine Narwani is an excellent analysis of the US re-invasion of Iraq.

The Ukrainian Junta and IS are monsters of western creation, with the IS (Islamic State) being a partnership with gulf arab states. Both further US strategic interests:

1) In Ukraine the objective is to install a permanent state of war in Russia’s backyard and any criticism of the regime will be blacked out. The eventual target is of course destruction of Russia.

2) In the Middle East the objective is to break up Iraq into 3 pieces, install a permanent state of war and to weaken Syria,Lebanon & Iran. All three countries can resolve this crisis on their own. Hence the artificial hollywood line up of executions to promote direct US involvement. They could not have Iran,Syria,Lebanon (with Russian assistance) kill their demon baby (Islamic State).

Prognosis: US failure as the “coalition of the unwilling tyrants” has no appetite for war on both fronts;

1) Europe is living a nightmare it cannot be woken out of, even a defeat militarily (though NATO intervention is highly unlikely) would be welcome relief. The latest ceasefire is a farce and an outcome of Russia’s own 5th column that has been limiting a quick resolution since day one. Putin is not almighty as many believe. This situation will keep developing and eventually should lead to a purge in the Russian government apparatus. It is highly unlikely that the US will succeed in its long term objectives, it has however underscored short term wins in Ukraine. Almost all of Ukraine has been either sold off or is in the process.

2)In the Middle East the new demon baby (after Israel of course) is running loose but that may have been the intention afterall. For the US to keep its “allies” in check. The US strategic aim is again a permanent state of war not peace. The gulf arab contribution to the creation of IS is irrelevant as they have obviously not thought this one through. There is no way the gulf arab states can defend themselves against battle hardened guerrillas. For a moment consider how they have not once defended themselves in recent history.

A key litmus test, of the direction of the US campaign, would be Syria’s reaction to US attacks on its forces. This will most likely happen as the US did not get the chance last year, remember they still want regime change in Syria. That is still the plan.
