Conversation: Global Politics In Review

Roman emperors used the Gladiator fights in the Colosseum as a means of providing entertainment. Brutal savagery was considered sport and the people cheered.

The 21st century brings with it no excuse for poverty to still exist. No excuse for the human population to run in hamster wheels to rent basic needs such as food, water, shelter, medicine & education.

With the infrastructure available, the skill set available and the manpower available one must wonder why the basic needs are not?

When you pay for a ‘right’ it ceases to be a ‘right’ and is instead a temporary privilege you can ‘afford’ temporarily.

Just like in ancient Rome, we have a modern day globalized Colosseum of consciousness. The gladiators are us this time, battling each other in a game of corporate servitude so that we may excel and obtain the glory of ‘money’, created out of thin air by banks, so that we may obtain our basic needs not temporarily but forever.

When we doubt this charade, an army of media mugals, politicians, bureaucrats, military men and religious clergy lead the charge against sanity.  Such thought is ‘conspiratorial’, ‘Utopian’, ‘extreme’ and ‘ridiculous’.

Humans are told that their inner good can never be enough, that their desire to see a peaceful and just world is not reasonable. Why? Because we cannot afford it we are told. Yes, the artificiality of money that is created out of thin air is used to strangle us. Terrorism, death, destruction, sorrow, pain, poverty is dangled in front of us to keep us in line. The poor instead of being our calling feed our fear.

Fear that power manufactures to keep the televised destruction of humanity on the air so that the plebs stay happy in their hamster wheel, feeling ‘safe’.

Kia Ora,

New Zealand is not just rugby and shrimps on the barbie. Aotearoa, the Maori name for New Zealand, is the land of the people of this great country. The Maori people who have welcomed all of us immigrants.

Maori custom stands for human dignity, freedom and liberation of the mind ultimately. It is not about appointed overlords dictating ‘law’.

Te Kahu Rolleston embodies this spirit like none other as he works to lift the young men and women so that they may rise and claim their seat in their country.

“THE STORY IS OVER, THE GAME IS OVER”: SYRIA’S AMBASSADOR AL-JA’AFARI ON TURKEY, SAUDI, QATARI, ‘ISRAELI’, NATO WAR ON SYRIA

Below is a very interesting recent series of statements, followed by Q&A with Syria’s Ambassador to the UN, Dr. Bashar al-Ja’afari on turkey’s latest criminal aggression against Syria, as well as turkey’s history of violating Syria’s sovereignty and abetting, funneling terrorists into Syria.

*I typed out some choice remarks by Dr. al-Ja’afari*

“Nowadays everybody knows what’s going on in Syria. The turkish government is responsible of dealing, trading with ISIL. Buying oil, gas, and artifacts from ISIL. Facilitating the movement of this illegal, illegitimate trade of artifacts and gas and oil through turkish territory into some european capitals and ‘israel’.

So the story is over, the game is over. The turkish wrong and irresponsible policies are very well known to everybody. It’s time to put the turkish rulers at the seat of confession in front of the Security Council.”

*

“The whole war against is a war crime and a war against humanity. The economic boycott–taking the form of unilateral economic coercive measures for 5 years. Blockade. All kinds of boycott has been implemented by these aggressive countries towards my government–by the way, they are the same countries supporting the armed groups, the terrorist groups, operating in Syria and Iraq.

Definitely we have credible information that the so-called US led alliance struck the hospital in the northern part of Syria, but as usual the easiest way for them is to trigger a hostile campaign against the Syrian government–within the media–to accuse and defame the Syrian government, or our allies the Russians, of doing so and being behind such criminal act against a hospital.”

*

“Which ‘opposition’? We have 1000 ‘oppositions’.”
