Thailand: US Meddling in Asia Backfiring, by Tony Cartalucci

Comments made in wake of US-backed proxy regime’s fall in Thailand further alienate the waning superpower.

First in Hong Kong, now in Thailand, ongoing US plans to install proxy regimes to extend hegemony across Asia-Pacific have fallen into disarray.

The latest row comes after US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel Russel made comments condemning the recent coup that first deposed, then saw the impeachment of ex-Thai prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra over a vast array of corruption and abuse of power charges.

Russel was quoted by an official US State Department transcript of a speech he gave in Thailand as saying:

…a narrow, restricted process – carries the risk of leaving many Thai citizens feeling that they’ve been excluded from the political process.

That’s the reason why we continue to advocate for a broader and more inclusive political process that allows all sectors of society to feel represented, to feel that their voices are being heard. I’d add that the perception of fairness is also extremely important and although this is being pretty blunt, when an elected leader is removed from office, is deposed, then impeached by the authorities – the same authorities that conducted the coup – and then when a political leader is targeted with criminal charges at a time when the basic democratic processes and institutions in the country are interrupted, the international community is going to be left with the impression that these steps could in fact be politically driven.

Raúl Castro Puts the Ball in the U.S. Court, by David Urra

Cuba’s Conditions for Bilateral Relations

Journalists normally come to governmental summits with pen and scissors in hand, because summarizing the extended remarks of Heads of State is a pretty difficult and tedious job. Leaders sometimes repeat things they’ve said before, or make remarks that don’t particularly bear reporting, or concentrate on specific problems that are not generally all that interesting.

The latest CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Summit ought to have been different though. Everyone was waiting for Cuba’s delegation, led by its president, Raúl Castro, in anticipation of his first public remarks since he and President Obama announced a prisoner exchange and the beginnings of negotiations to re-establish relations between Cuba and the United States.

Ever since that bombshell, a flood of stories have emerged on both sides of the Straits, filled with speculation about events both real and imagined, and as one would expect, sketching the parameters for public opinion about what might come next.

Another convenient gift by ‘coincidence’ from ISIS

The US has wanted Japan to renounce its peace mandate in Article 9 of the Japanese constitution, to use Japan as a lever against Russia and China. The Abe government likewise wants to renounce it. The Japanese people don’t – or didn’t. Suddenly, in a twist of ironies, Japan got its own ‘Pearl Harbor moment’ from ISIS with the beheading of the Japanese journalist.

ISIS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the US CIA. The gift that keeps on giving…

The Police State Is Upon Us, by Paul Craig Roberts

January 31, 2015 “ICH” –  Anyone paying attention knows that 9/11 has been used to create a police/warfare state. Years ago NSA official William Binney warned Americans about the universal spying by the National Security Agency, to little effect. Recently Edward Snowden proved the all-inclusive NSA spying by releasing spy documents, enough of which have been made available by Glenn Greenwald to establish the fact of NSA illegal and unconstitutional spying, spying that has no legal, constitutional, or “national security” reasons.Yet Americans are not up in arms. Americans have accepted the government’s offenses against them as necessary protection against “terrorists.”

Neither Congress, the White House, or the Judiciary has done anything about the wrongful spying, because the spying serves the government. Law and the Constitution are expendable when the few who control the government have their “more important agendas.”

Bradley Manning warned us of the militarization of US foreign policy and the murderous consequences, and Julian Assange of WikiLeaks posted leaked documents proving it.

Banned German satire “Die Anstalt” exposes double standards on Russia and Ukraine

This great show is a good reminder to us all that people, be it in the West or East, cannot be just painted with one brush.

When we tag articles with “Western Hypocrisy” or “Western Terrorism”, we do not talk about the public but the infinitely small power brokers in government. The ones who really call the shots, not your neighbour.

Liberation of Auschwitz – Heroic Deed of Red Army, by Yuriy RUBTSOV

There are many more examples to prove that there is an information-psychological war unleashed against Russia and Russians. The objective is «to revise» the results of WWII and show in different light the contribution of the Soviet Union into the victory over Germany and the liberation of Europe.

If you ask the prisoners of Auschwitz or at least those who have ever visited the memorial and museum about what they felt – they will tell you that the place where hundreds of thousands died is under the effects of cursed seal.

One gets the impression that the death silence of the cemetery is still broken by cries and moans of inmates pushed into gas chambers…piles of shoes of all sizes, tooth brushes, glasses… all these objects still appear to preserve the warmth of hands of the people they belonged to.

Grzegorz Schetyna, the Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, suggested that Ukrainian troops should be celebrated for liberating the Hitler’s camp of death camp, and not the Soviet Red Army. («Since the Ukrainian soldiers were there on that January day, it was they who opened the camp’s gates», Schetyna said).

As we feared….., by Dagmar Henn

It would be nice if a surprising bit of truth would not be spun into new lies. But it has been proven once more — the sudden, astounding news when that bus in Donetsk (not the first one by the way) got shelled was just the opening move for another false-flag action, the next propagandist crusade.

It’s bewildering. You have to ask yourself whether the Ukrainian junta receives a signal every time German media takes the wrong line, responding to it with a new crime. Or whether each of these events is prepared on such a broad scale that the German press is just a part of the staging.

Because it was really amazing — last summer Donbass settlements had suffered aerial attacks for weeks, by helicopters and fighter jets, and nothing, nothing at all was written in the newspapers about this. Nothing about downed Ukrainian war planes either And then, suddenly, on 15th of July a report about an aerial attack on Shneznoye.

Je suis Vanya!

IamVanya

The Western world welcomed with open arms, an embrace and much platitude, the butcher of Kiev, Poroshenko, in Paris earlier this month.

We are to forget the thousands of men, women, children and the elderly that have been terrorized by the NATO/US/EU funded Nazi war machine in Kiev. We are not to utter the names of the dead children, remember their faces or even to protest their plight.

JeSuisVanya

How is such anti-humanism celebrated as freedom and democracy in the West?

Remember one name at least, so that you can put a face to the horrors being inflicted on Donbass by the Western equipped, funded, supported and directed Nazi war machine.

The name is Vanya.
